Democracy Day Observance: No School on Friday, 12th June, 2026
In accordance with the Public Holiday declaration by the Federal Government in observance of Democracy Day, popularly known as June 12, there will be no school activities on Friday, 12th June 2026.
This day is set aside nationally to honour Nigeria’s democratic journey, contemplate the sacrifices that have shaped our present, and appreciate the progress made as a nation. It also stands as a significant reflection on the courage of those who stood for justice, equity, and the voice of the people, even in times of uncertainty and struggle. Beyond celebration, it invites every citizen to renew their commitment to unity, responsible leadership, and civic responsibility. It calls us to look inward as a people, to strengthen our shared values, and to nurture a society where freedom is not only declared but truly lived through fairness, inclusion, and respect for one another.
Learning activities will resume promptly on Monday, 15th June 2026, as scheduled.
We encourage learners to use this short break for rest, positive engagement at home, and meaningful personal development.
We appreciate the understanding and cooperation of our esteemed parents, guardians, and learners, as we remain committed to delivering a structured, purposeful, and enriching learning experience.
Thank you for choosing Cambridge International School as a place of excellence, discipline, and continuous growth.
